Dear Visitor,

According to the advice that Allan Kardec gave to all those who wanted to follow the Spiritist Doctrine, one should only accept any message from the physical or from the spiritual dimensions once it was submitted to reason and to judiciousness and approved.

Such an advice is very wise because it keeps Spiritism from becoming a dogmatic doctrine within an unchangeable framework. As the advance of science makes us more capable of understanding the events that happen around us, Spirits will evolve and adapt.

One apparent consequence in following such a wise advice is that it gives way to numerous different interpretations of the Doctrine due to the fact that each person – incarnate Spirit - dwells in a different wisdom evolution stage. These innumerable interpretations may pave the way for the creation of several movements, each gathering followers who have similar understandings.

While one movement may place more emphasis in the religious aspect of Spiritism, another one may place more emphasis on the scientific one. While some may follow the Spiritist Codification literally without accepting any idea besides those that are explicitly mentioned in it, others may be more open to new ideas, so long as they are not incompatible with what is presented in the Codification. While one may see a certain communicator spirit as a serious and trustworthy source, another one may reject the teachings of that spirit and support the teachings of another one.

So many differences, however, is not a drawback, but rather strength.  Diversity is at the very core of evolution. Where diversity does not exist, evolution stagnates. As long as all the movements follow the teachings of the Spiritist Doctrine, the remaining differences will merely allow newcomers to choose which movement best fits their evolution stage.

This introduction serves to allow visitors to be aware that you may see many different interpretations in the sites that can be accessed by following the links in this page. Furthermore, it serves to explain that such differences are not only acceptable but also desirable, so that our Doctrine evolves and remains, throughout the centuries, a wonderful and trustworthy guide towards perfection as it is now.
